Job Overview

We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Movers to join our team. As a Mover, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers with their moving needs, ensuring their belongings are transported safely and efficiently. This position requires physical stamina, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.

Duties

• Load and unload furniture and other items onto and off of moving trucks.
• Safely operate box trucks and other vehicles for transportation of goods.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during the moving process.
• Navigate routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries.
• Handle heavy lifting and moving of various items, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
• Utilize equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks as needed for loading and unloading tasks.
• Assist in packing and unpacking items as required by customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.

Skills

• Strong customer service abilities to interact positively with clients.
• Previous warehouse experience is beneficial for understanding logistics and operations.
• Experience as a delivery driver or commercial driving skills are preferred.
• Proficiency in driving manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the workday.
• Familiarity with moving procedures, including load and unload techniques.
• Route driving experience to ensure efficient navigation during deliveries.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual
