Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our professional team. The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive repair and bodywork, with a strong focus on restoring vehicles to their original condition. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, utilizing advanced tools and techniques to deliver high-quality repairs. Candidates with dealership experience and mechanical knowledge are highly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Repair and restore damaged vehicle bodies using various hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques
- Perform dent removal, frame straightening, and panel replacement with precision and attention to detail
- Conduct automotive repairs including sanding, grinding, welding, and painting preparation
- Assess vehicle damage and develop repair plans in collaboration with the service team
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Follow manufacturer specifications and safety protocols throughout all repair processes
- Collaborate with other technicians to complete repairs efficiently and accurately
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role, preferably within a dealership environment
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment
- Ability to perform automotive repairs including bodywork, frame straightening, and component replacement
- Experience working with automotive paint systems is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to lift heavy parts and stand for extended periods of time
- Automotive repair or mechanic experience is highly desirable
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $23.99-$34.99 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
