About the role

Professional Services (PS) includes Project Managers and Consultants (Business and Data/Implementation). PMs plan and drive delivery; Consultants translate requirements into working solutions and data integrations. As a Professional Services Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering PureFacts solutions to clients across wealth management, asset management, and financial advisory sectors. You'll work closely with clients to understand their business needs, configure and implement our products, and ensure successful adoption and value realization.

In addition to delivering solutions, you will manage medium-complexity projects, engage directly with clients, and deliver tailored solutions that address unique business challenges.

This role requires strong expertise in business analysis, data consulting, and technical implementation, as well as the ability to independently drive project success.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring the seamless delivery of high-quality solutions while mentoring junior consultants and contributing to process improvements.

This role is ideal for someone who is client-focused, analytically strong, and excited to work at the intersection of financial services and technology.

What you'll do

Client Engagement & Delivery

  • Lead discovery sessions to understand client requirements, workflows, and system environments.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications, configurations, and solution designs.
  • Deliver high-quality product implementations for fee billing, commissions, incentives, reporting, and analytics platforms.
  • Conduct client demos, training, user onboarding and software demonstrations to showcase solutions.
  • Manage client expectations, scope, timelines and proactively communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and expectation management throughout project delivery.

Solution Configuration & Analysis

  • Configure PureFacts products based on client requirements and data structures.
  • Perform advanced task identification, translating business needs into technical solutions for medium to large projects.
  • Conduct complex ETL process analyses to support data transformation and integration.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, discrepancies, or optimization opportunities.
  • Develop and execute test scripts, support data validation, testing cycles, and user acceptance processes.
  • Create and maintain project documentation, including solution design, mapping documents, and configuration guides.

Partnering & Collaboration

  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Client Success teams to ensure seamless delivery and alignment of solutions with business needs.
  • Escalate and track issues, partnering with technical teams to drive resolution.
  • Provide feedback to Product teams to help shape roadmap priorities based on client needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across product, development, and project management.

Client Success & Relationship Management

  • Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders, acting as a subject-matter expert.
  • Engage with clients to ensure alignment of business objectives with project execution.
  • Identify opportunities to expand client value through additional features, services, or optimizations.
  • Support ongoing initiatives to improve delivery frameworks, templates, and best practices.

Mentorship & Continuous Improvement

· Mentor junior team members, fostering professional growth and technical expertise.

· Review business documentation written by junior consultants prior to internal and external approvals.

· Lead or contribute to internal training sessions to drive knowledge sharing.

· Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives in project management processes.

Qualifications

Required

  • 3–7 years of experience in consulting, professional services, business analysis, or implementation roles.
  • Background in financial services, wealth management, or fintech.
  • Strong understanding of financial data, fee structures, incentives, or reporting workflows.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work directly with clients, manage competing priorities, and drive outcomes independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop requirements documentation, process flows, and test cases.
  • Proficiency with Excel; experience with SQL or data manipulation tools preferred.

  • Experience supporting end-to-end delivery of medium-complexity projects or modules within larger projects.

 

Preferred

  • Experience implementing SaaS or enterprise financial systems.
  • Understanding of wealth management concepts (e.g., AUM, performance fees, advisor comp).
  • Technical curiosity and comfort engaging with API, data integrations, or system architecture concepts.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Passion for mentoring junior team members and leading internal training initiatives.
  • Fluency in English; French is an asset.
