CNC Machinist

Job Title: CNC Machinist / Mastercam Programmer – Industrial Repair Shop

Location: Corunna, ON (Sarnia Area)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $36.00–$40.00 per hour

About the Role:

Join a skilled, close-knit team that builds and repairs precision components for turbines, compressors, and industrial equipment. You'll program and run CNC mills and lathes (Mastercam), occasionally work manual machines, and help bring one-off or critical repair jobs to life.

What You'll Do

• Program, set up, and run CNC equipment (Mastercam proficiency required)
• Tackle challenging, low-volume parts — not production runs
• Verify dimensions and tolerances with precision tools
• Collaborate with machinists, millwrights, and engineers
• Keep the shop organized, safe, and ready for the next big job

What You Bring

• Journeyperson Machinist or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of CNC machining and Mastercam programming
• Strong blueprint reading and measurement skills
• Manual machining experience (boring mills, lathes) an asset
• Mechanical aptitude and solid problem-solving mindset
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills
• Valid driver's license and clean record

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week (occasional overtime and weekends possible)
