Your new role

As the Residential Leasing Coordinator, you will be the primary point of contact for prospective and current tenants across multiple residential rental buildings. Your responsibilities include managing leasing inquiries, conducting unit tours, and overseeing the full leasing cycle - from screening applicants and preparing lease documentation to coordinating move-ins and move-outs. You will create and execute marketing strategies, manage online advertising campaigns, and monitor market comparables to ensure competitive positioning. This role also involves maintaining accurate tenant records in Yardi, managing parking and locker rentals, and supporting property management with inspections, renovations, and administrative tasks. Evening and weekend work may be required to accommodate showings and inspections.

What you need to succeed

You bring at least 2 years of experience in property management or a real estate customer service role, with residential rental experience considered an asset. A bachelor's degree in business or real estate is preferred, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Yardi. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks are essential. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to resolve conflicts professionally will set you apart. Knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act and a desire to grow your expertise in real estate will help you thrive in this position. You also need access to a reliable vehicle.

What you get in return

This permanent role offers a competitive salary of $65,000-$70,000 per year, plus a monthly gas and phone allowance.
