Description

Are you an experienced multi-skilled Equipment Operator looking for an exciting opportunity to work on a major industrial project in February 2026? Are you seeking work-life balance? At Ledcor, we take pride in safety, quality, and workmanship, and we're looking for hardworking and reliable operators to join our team for the Dow LP8 Path2Zero expansion project in Fort Saskatchewan, AB.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate multiple pieces of equipment - Excavators, Loaders, Skid Steer and Rock Truck
  • Fill out and understand an equipment logbook
  • Perform daily basic service and preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Interprets verbal and non-verbal communication (including hand signals) from operators, ground personnel and Labourers, and acts accordingly
  • Recognize existing and potential hazards and know how to identify these through conducting a field level pre-job hazard analysis, checking the machine for hazards and assessing any tasks before starting
  • Operate equipment in a safe manner be willing to comply with Ledcor's safety commitments

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience operating various heavy equipment
  • Demonstrate skills and experience with working around utilities, tight spaces
  • Must have demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing
  • Valid government photo ID
  • Client online orientations must be completed

Work Conditions:

  • Project scope to commence in February 2026
  • Work schedule: 5 days on, and 2 days off plus statutory holidays off
  • Extended health benefits provided by CLAC
  • Weekly payment of wages
