Expected to travel 65% of the time

Domestic travel and some international as required (USA & EU commonly expected)

Function

The Product Manager is a key operational role within Sebia Canada's Marketing team, responsible for executing strategies, managing product operations, coordinating events, and driving process improvement. This role reports into the Marketing Manager.

The Product Manager will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver seamless execution of marketing plans, support commercial operations, and ensure that product performance meets both customer and business expectations.

The essential function(s) of the Product Manager include, but are not limited to the following:

Product Management & Commercial Support

·       Support product management activities including lifecycle planning, product roadmap execution, launch coordination, and end-of-life transitions; ensure alignment with supply chain operations to proactively manage inventory health, availability, and risk of stock-outs or backorders

·       Engage with customers, KOLs, and strategic contacts to support nationwide market access and development efforts; act as a facilitator to initiate and grow customer relationships

·       Gather and analyze customer feedback, field intelligence, and competitor changes to inform product refinement, messaging strategy, and long-term portfolio positioning

·       Provide subject matter expertise on products and value propositions for RFPs, tenders, and sole-source applications; collaborate with sales and applications teams to craft technically sound and commercially competitive submissions

·       Design and implement marketing and product operations workflows; identify inefficiencies, introduce SOPs, and apply continuous improvement methodologies to enhance execution velocity and cross-team alignment.

·       Support the development and implementation of customer-facing tools and internal training resources, delivering onboarding and enablement sessions to ensure cross-functional teams are aligned on product positioning, application, and value proposition.

·       Monitor SMART metrics and KPIs across product and commercial initiatives; identify performance gaps and adjust plans or resource allocation to ensure goals are met

Events Coordination & Marketing Communication

·       Own end-to-end planning and execution of strategic events including trade shows, conferences, and customer events; ensure execution aligns with brand, product messaging, and pipeline objectives

·       Develop and manage integrated marketing communication strategies to enhance brand visibility across digital channels ensuring alignment with corporate branding and messaging guidelines. ​

·       Coordinate with global teams to localize and implement marketing materials and campaigns, overseeing the production and distribution of brochures, promotional items, and other collateral to support product launches and promotional activities

·       Manage customer communications, including product notifications, educational campaigns, and promotional initiatives

Education & Experience

·       Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Marketing, Business, or a related field

·       Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the IVD, medical device, or life sciences industry, with exposure to product management, commercial operations, or marketing

·       Prior experience supporting or managing product lifecycle, marketing campaigns, or cross-functional projects within a regulated industry preferred

·       Experience with auto-immune diagnostics including IFA/ELISA/CLIA is preferred

Core Competencies & Technical Skills

·       Understanding of the IVD market landscape, including product lifecycles, commercial operations, marketing, and Canadian customer landscape

·       Familiarity with tendering processes, customer segmentation, and competitive intelligence in the diagnostics space is a strong asset

·       Ability to distill complex scientific or technical information into compelling and clear customer-facing messaging

·       Experience supporting or executing marketing communication initiatives including content development, digital campaigns, or event planning

·       Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics), email marketing platforms (HubSpot), and basic design tools (Canva or Adobe) is a plus

·       Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables across multiple projects with familiarity with project management methodologies

·       Highly organized, self-motivated, and adaptable with a continuous improvement mindset

·       Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and problem-solving attitude
