WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
In this position, you will get to:

Assist with preparing basic financial reports and analyses to support plant initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
Support the month-end close process by preparing journal entries and assisting with variance analysis of plant spend versus budget and forecast.
Maintain accurate inventory records through reconciliation and cycle count support.
Participate in the annual budgeting and forecasting process by gathering data and preparing preliminary reports.
Provide support for audits by organizing documentation and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for efficiency and learn best practices in a manufacturing finance environment.
May have opportunity to support projects. 

YOU HAVE:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in a finance, accounting, or analyst role, preferably within a manufacturing or operations environment.
Strong interest in developing cost accounting skills in a manufacturing environment.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn cost accounting principles.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite, with experience working with large data sets.
Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems preferred.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
A proactive attitude and eagerness to develop skills in financial analysis and reporting.

Pay Transparency
Chemelex's pay scale is based on the expected range of compensation for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
 
Compensation Range: $76,000-85,000
Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation.
