At Progressive Healing Clinic, we are dedicated to helping our clients through mindful, evidence-based healing. We are a multidisciplinary clinic in Oakville with Registered Massage Therapy, Osteopathy, Naturopathy, Acupuncture, Psychotherapy, and Reiki energy healing services. Our interdisciplinary team works collaboratively to support our clients' health journeys.

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nutritionist/Dietitian to join our growing team. This is a unique opportunity to practice in a holistic, client-centered environment where your expertise will help empower our clients on their path to healing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize expertise in nutrition screening and assessment to ascertain the specific nutritional requirements of diverse patient demographics
• Assess the efficacy of nutrition care plans and recommend necessary adjustments as warranted
• Employ professional discretion to modify and implement guidelines, protocols, and professional care standards in response to evolving patient requirements
• Analyze emerging trends and advancements in dietary methodologies

Requirements:

• Completion of a four-year Bachelor's degree in Nutrition/Dietetics and an accredited dietetic internship program
• Registered and in good standing with the College of Dietitians of Ontario
• Member of the Dietitians of Canada, an asset
• Minimum 1 year of practice experience
• Broad-based understanding of nutrition needs across diverse patient populations
• Experience with developing and applying nutrition care plans for diverse patient populations
• Self-directed with strong critical thinking skills and the ability to handle complex situations
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic and rapidly changing healthcare environment
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to advocate effectively on behalf of patients and the profession itself
• Effectively prioritizes and manages workload both independently and collaboratively
• Demonstrates a caring, respectful and professional approach
• Friendly, professional, and patient-centered approach to care
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a holistic wellness team
