We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join the warehouse team based out of the Kingston ON area. In this role, you will be responsible for picking orders and receiving product. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse operations and possess the skills necessary to thrive in a fast-paced environment. These are full-time permanent positions, direct hire with the company, not through an agency.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately receive and inspect incoming shipments for quality and quantity.
  • Load and unload products from trucks and containers using forklifts, Raymond reach, order picker, and counterbalance.
  • Receive the product and enter it into the system.
  • Maintain organized inventory records within the warehouse management system, good computer skills are an asset.
  • Fulfill orders accurately by picking items from inventory based on order specifications.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient warehouse distribution processes.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks to maintain stock levels and report discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations while operating equipment in the warehouse.

Skills.

  • Experience with warehouse management systems is preferred.
  • Strong ability to load and unload products safely and efficiently.
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and distribution processes.
  • Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order picking and shipping tasks.
  • Strong organizational skills to maintain an orderly warehouse environment.
  • Must have previous 3 years of warehouse experience.
  • Must have 3 years of previous order picking experience.
  • Experience with manual order picking, using pump truck or power jack
  • Comfortable with heavy lifting 70 lbs
  • Must have 3 years of forklift experience, Raymond Reach, Order Picker and counterbalance sit down propane.
  • Must be comfortable working at heights.
  • Must have a valid forklift certificate.
  • Comfortable with a position that is operation, approx. 75-80% is manual, 20-25% forklift.

The following shifts are available:

Monday to Friday 11:00am - 8:00pm

$20.70/ hr to start with- $0.50/hr shift premium. Plus benefits and profit sharing.

Remember, these are full-time permanent positions, direct hire with the company not through an agency.

We are looking for applicants to have a minimum of 3 years of Warehouse experience. Order Picking/ Shipping / Receiving experience. Must have a valid forklift licence with Raymond Reach, Order Picker and Counterbalance sit down propane with 3 years of forklift experience.
