Summary
As a Caregiver/Companion at My Aide In Life, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients. Located in Calgary, Alberta, this position involves providing compassionate care and support to elderly individuals, ensuring their comfort and well-being while assisting them with daily activities, while easing the minds of their family caregivers.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship to elderly clients.
- Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, housekeeping, and errands.
- Monitor clients' health conditions when needed.
- Support clients with mobility and transportation needs.
- Engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities to promote mental well-being.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients.
- Help them to maintain their lifestyle while respecting their independence with empathy, compassion and intuitiveness.
- Keep up-to-date documents for clients.
Requirements
- Experience in home care or caregiving is beneficial but not necessary.
- Experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred.
- Compassionate nature with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to forecast needs & provide insight into safety issues - Proactive
- Ability to assist clients with mobility and physical tasks.
- First aid certification is a plus.
- Vulnerability & Police check is mandatory once hired.

Job Types: Contract, Casual, Permanent
Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
