About the Team

The CDRR Architecture Governance team provides architecture guidance and governance across all aspects of technology solutions and decisions. The team is responsible for creating and implementing architecture strategies that align with organizational goals and ensure resiliency, scalability, and security.

Position Overview

We are seeking an accomplished
Enterprise Architect
or
Solutions Architect
with a broad, organization-wide architecture mindset. This role involves leading the development and execution of enterprise-wide technology strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and fostering innovation. The ideal candidate will combine strategic vision with hands-on technical expertise, strong collaboration skills, and the ability to influence and inspire across teams.

Key Responsibilities

Develop & Drive Technology Strategy

  • Lead the ideation, design, and implementation of enterprise architecture strategies.
  • Establish and maintain architecture principles, governance, patterns, and standards to guide IT initiatives.

Innovation & Ideation

  • Continuously evaluate emerging trends, tools, and methodologies.
  • Recommend disruptive technologies that can transform business models.

Holistic Solution Architecture

  • Balance high-level enterprise architecture with actionable solution designs.
  • Ensure seamless integration of applications, data, and processes across business functions.

Organizational Execution & Collaboration

  • Work across departments to break down silos and align business needs with technical capabilities.

Governance & Risk Management

  • Define and enforce architecture governance processes.
  • Address risks related to resiliency, scalability, security, and technical debt.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5–6 years of hands-on experience in
    Java/J2EE
    or
    Python
    , with ability to build prototypes or POCs.
  • 4+ years in technology leadership, including 3+ years in enterprise architecture roles.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise systems, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and modern architectural patterns (microservices, event-driven architecture).
  • Strong background in data architecture, integration, analytics, and governance frameworks.
  • Solid knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming and Design Patterns.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to design and implement solutions.
  • Experience in driving innovation programs and aligning IT with business strategy.
  • Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Leadership abilities to influence and inspire across organizational boundaries.

Desired Skills

  • Certifications: TOGAF, SAFe Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or similar.
  • Familiarity with frameworks like ITIL, COBIT, or Lean Portfolio Management.
  • Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI implementation.
  • Strong database skills (relational and semi-structured).
  • DevOps experience: CI/CD pipeline management, containerization, observability tools.
