Overview

We are seeking a dedicated ECEA to join our educational team as a full-time substitute educator. This position requires travel between our 8 locations across greater Victoria (visit our website for all locations ) and is best suited for an individual with a reliable vehicle. This role requires excellent communication skills, classroom experience, and a strong ability to adapt to new and changing environments.

Responsibilities

  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning
  • Collaborate with colleagues to organize classroom activities, events, and educational programs
  • Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques
  • Uphold health and safety standards in accordance with licensing regulations

Qualifications

  • Valid BC ECEA
  • Valid drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle an asset
  • Strong communication skills in English—verbal and written—necessary for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$21.25 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 42.5 per week
