Job Overview

An Inside/Contract Sales Representative establishes and manages relationships with Contract Customers (with sales $1,000+ annually). They are responsible for processing all orders from their customers and monitoring the fulfillment of the orders. An Inside/Contract Sales Representative also provides support to fellow Sales Representatives and the Sales Manager/Vice President as needed. Assist with order picking and shipping as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain relationships with customer representatives including price negation and service concerns
  • Respond to inquiries and quote requests
  • Source products with vendors for pricing and availability
  • Set up new inventory codes in the Charles Jones Prelude System
  • Enter orders from customers in the Charles Jones Prelude System
  • Monitor orders generated to ensure superior customer service
  • Liaise with Purchasing regarding availability and updates for products
  • Monitor bid and tender opportunities and respond accordingly
  • Assist with order picking and shipping of products (as needed)

Qualifications

  • Bilingual (English and French) required
  • High school graduate
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Working knowledge of the telecommunications and/or industrial hardware industry
  • Self-starter with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Experience with purchasing or sourcing products preferred
  • Experience with distribution software (e.g. Prelude) preferred
  • Experience with vendor relations and negotiation preferred
  • Experience with Google Docs, Microsoft Office preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
