As a result of the increased demand for our SmartSuite product offering, we're seeking a Software Project Manager that will oversee the integration and upgrades of our product to new and existing customers within the airline industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Communication: Managing the clients' expectations and communicating needs to the project team
  • Managing scope internally (within project team) and externally (with client)
  • Financial responsibility on projects between $100k and $2M
  • Managing resource assignments and utilization for all assigned resources
  • Creation and management of project schedules
  • Ensure harmonious working relationships with key partners
  • Identify risks/roadblocks and work with the teams to mitigate them for successful completion of the project
  • Ensure quality of the end solution through implementation of our standard project and development process

Qualifications Required:

  • University Degree or College Diploma in a relevant field of study (Computer science, Engineering or related fields)
  • 3+ years' experience in a Project Management role in Software/IT projects
  • Experience/exposure to the following technologies: C#, .NET, SQL Server, Network Design, Virtualized Environments and Microsoft Azure/Cloud Computing
  • Experience implementing real time software solutions in a critical operational capacity
  • Must be customer focused and action oriented
  • Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines
  • Proven success working with all levels of management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
  • This position does require travel up to 30%
  • Experience in transportation and logistics industry
