Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Cashier to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring smooth food and beverage operations, and maintaining a welcoming environment for our guests. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, strong communication skills, and a passion for delivering memorable dining experiences. Prior restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided to ensure success in this role.

Duties

  • Take customer orders accurately using POS systems and handle cashiering responsibilities with precision.
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages according to established standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
  • Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change while maintaining accurate cash handling procedures.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including food handling and kitchen safety protocols.
  • Provide attentive customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
  • Assist in food preparation when necessary, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods.
  • Manage time efficiently to serve multiple tables or customers simultaneously while maintaining high service standards.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service, serving, or cashiering roles is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms.
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and processing transactions accurately.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.60-$18.60 per hour
