Claims Trainer and Quality Analyst

The Claims Training and Development Team is responsible for designing, delivering and evaluating training programs that enhance the knowledge, skills and performance of the claims team. This role supports continuous learning and development initiatives to ensure compliance, improve customer experience, and drive operational excellence across the claims department
As the successful candidate you will be responsible for designing and conducting a training program, aligned with Johnston Group's core values, that will boost workplace performance. It will be important for you to keep current with new trends and tools in training management to ensure staff training needs are consistently being met. You will also be responsible for maintaining all training manuals developed in the Claims Department, as well as the creation of new training manuals as needed. Tools will be provided for you to solicit feedback from employees so you may adjust the training program as needed to ensure it is effective. You will work closely with the Management team to create a plan that meets employee needs.
- Hybrid working model based out of our Winnipeg, MB office, with three days in-office per week.
Qualifications:
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, ability to effectively convey information and build relationships
- Knowledge of Health and Dental Claims Processing
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work collaboratively as a team member
- Intermediate knowledge with excel, word, and M365
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with adult learning principles and training methods is an asset
- Bilingual (French) written and oral communication skills considered an asset
- Experience working with group benefits is considered an asset
- Continuing education in training and development may be required
