Duties

  • Develop and implement comprehensive public relations strategies to enhance the organization's visibility and reputation.
  • Craft compelling press releases, articles, speeches, and social media content that align with organizational messaging.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and community partners to facilitate positive coverage.
  • Manage media inquiries and coordinate interviews or press events as needed.
  • Conduct research on industry trends, public opinion, and competitors to inform PR campaigns.
  • Proofread and edit all outgoing communication materials to ensure clarity, accuracy, and professionalism.
  • Monitor media coverage and analyze the effectiveness of PR efforts to optimize future strategies.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in public relations, communications, marketing, or related fields.
  • Strong public speaking skills with the ability to represent the organization confidently in various settings.
  • Excellent research skills to gather relevant information for strategic planning.
  • Exceptional writing skills for creating clear, engaging content tailored to different audiences.
  • Attention to detail in proofreading and editing all communication materials.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to build relationships internally and externally.
  • Knowledge of current media trends and social media platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related discipline is preferred but not mandatory. Pay: $62,521.16-$65,757.72 per year
