We are seeking a skilled
Power BI Report Developer
for a
6-month contract
to support a
ReportsNow to Power BI migration project
. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in designing and developing
Power BI Paginated Reports
, as well as expertise in
SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
,
SQL Server
, and
T-SQL
. This role involves converting existing ReportsNow reports into Power BI Paginated Reports and ensuring seamless integration with our BI environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Migrate existing JD Edwards ReportsNow reports to Power BI Paginated Reports.
  • Design, develop, and maintain new and existing Power BI Paginated Reports.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Write and optimize T-SQL queries, stored procedures for report development.
  • Ensure data accuracy, performance optimization, and adherence to best practices in reporting.
  • Work with IT BI team to integrate reports with existing data models.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to report performance and data integrity.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience with Power BI Paginated Reports and SSRS.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server and T-SQL (queries, stored procedures, performance tuning).
  • Experience with relational database design and data modeling concepts.
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets and deliver clear, actionable reports.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Power BI Desktop and DAX.
  • Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
  • Knowledge of version control tools (e.g., Git) and CI/CD for BI solutions.
  • Prior experience with ReportsNow or similar reporting tools.
