EARLYON WORKER

Casual Position in Smooth Rock Falls

As a member of the EarlyON team, the successful candidate will be required to implement and deliver community based programming to infants, children, youths, families and caregivers participating in the EarlyON program. Programs will be provided in-person and virtually, as required. The EarlyON Worker will promote the services of the Agency and to the programs to the participants and general public.

JOB REQUIREMENTS (QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS):

  • An Early Childhood Education Diploma, Child and Youth Worker Diploma, or related qualifications and experience in Human Services.
  • Knowledge and understanding of child development, child management, parenting styles, early nutritional needs, parent education tools and resources.
  • Excellent group facilitation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, time management, organizational and communication skills.
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
  • Must have a valid Class G driver's license and use of own vehicle.

À titre de membre de l'équipe ON y va, la candidate choisie ou le candidat choisi devra mettre en œuvre et assurer la prestation de programmes communautaires aux nourrissons, aux enfants, aux familles et aux fournisseurs de soins qui participent aux programmes. Les programmes seront offerts en personne et virtuellement, au besoin. La travailleuse ou le travailleur du centre ON y va e devra promouvoir les services et les programmes de l'Agence auprès des participants et du grand public.

EXIGENCES DE L'EMPLOI (QUALITÉS ET COMPÉTENCES REQUISES):

  • Diplôme en Éducation de la petite enfance, en Travail auprès des jeunes et des enfants, ou des titres et qualités équivalents dans le domaine des services à la personne.
  • Connaissance et compréhension du développement de l'enfant, de la manière de traiter les enfants, des styles parentaux, des besoins nutritifs des jeunes enfants, et des outils, ressources et techniques d'intervention pour des parents.
  • Excellentes compétences en animation de groupe.
  • Excellentes aptitudes à communiquer, excellent entregent et excellent sens de l'organisation.
  • Le bilinguisme (anglais-français) est un atout.
  • Permis de conduire valide de la catégorie G et utilisation de son propre véhicule.
