We are currently seeking a skilled and knowledgeable ISA Certified Arborist to join our team. We are looking for candidates from across Canada who are ready to settle in Southern Alberta for a stable, year-round career.

The Opportunity: This is not just seasonal work; this is a year-round position. We are looking for a dedicated professional who combines arboriculture expertise with practical mechanical skills. You will play a key role in our daily operations, ensuring safe, high-quality tree care and equipment reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Arboriculture Operations: Perform pruning, removal, and rigging according to strict ISA standards.
• Plant Health Care: Conduct tree assessments, identify pests/diseases, and recommend or apply appropriate treatments.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all industry safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe job site for the team and the public.
• Equipment Maintenance: Utilize your strong mechanical aptitude to perform on-site repairs and maintenance on trucks, chippers, and chainsaws to keep downtime to a minimum.
• Team Collaboration: Work effectively within a crew, providing mentorship and support to ensure projects are completed efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Certification: Valid ISA Certified Arborist credential is required.
• Experience: Proven experience in climbing, aerial lift operations, and advanced rigging techniques.
• Mechanical Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude is a must. You must be capable of addressing minor mechanical issues on equipment and vehicles in the field.
• Driver's License: Valid Class 5 Driver's License W/ Air brakes endorsement.
• Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, and able to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions.
