REEF TECH "The fish guys", have a new part time position available as an Aquarium Service Tech in NORTHWEST / NEAR GRIESBACH, Edmonton area. We are looking for a fish friendly male or female, whether you are older or younger. You must have a sincere interest in aquariums, fish and hands on experience in aquarium care as either a hobbyist or have previously worked with aquariums in a pet store.

Description of work: We have aquariums that need servicing once a week after 6 pm in northwest Edmonton on a consistent basis in a professional business setting. It would be most beneficial if you reside in the northwest part of the city to reduce commuting time.

Flexibility: The position offers good flexibility as you can pick which day of the week you wish to service the aquariums but once you have decided on that day you must consistently service on that day.

Suitability: This position is best suited for those who already are currently working a full time job or have daytime University classes with evenings and/or weekends free.

Considerations: We will only consider those who have and can demonstrate previous aquarium experience with either freshwater or saltwater aquariums. This is also a permanent part time position so we are looking for those who are committed to working and not looking for something temporary.

  • Our must haves:
  • Previous experience as a aquarium hobbyist or have worked directly with aquariums in a pet store
  • Your own reliable vehicle *Your own cell phone
  • Be able to pass security clearance with no criminal record whatsoever.
  • Be reliable and dependable and presentable.
  • Must be able to work independently and as a team player
  • Must have some evening availability during the week or weekend.
  • Must be clean, presentable and respectful
  • Must have a resume and references

Time commitment: hours per week

Rate of Pay: $220 a month flat rate pay

Additionally: You must be a team player and be willing to help out when other staff may need you to fill in occasionally on site or at another location.
