Duties

  • Provide professional nail care services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Stay current with the latest nail trends, color theory, and innovative techniques such as nail extensions and dermabrasion.
  • Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by properly sterilizing tools and workstations to ensure client safety.
  • Offer personalized consultations to recommend suitable nail treatments and colors that complement clients' styles.
  • Upsell retail products like nail polishes, skincare items, and body waxing services to enhance client satisfaction and business growth.
  • Assist clients with additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, or esthetic laser treatments when qualified.
  • Cultivate excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients, understand their needs, and ensure a memorable experience.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Nail Technician or in a similar cosmetology role with a strong portfolio of nail designs.
  • Certification in cosmetology or esthetician licensing required; additional certifications in eyelash extensions, hair extensions, or laser treatments are a plus.
  • Knowledge of color theory, nail care techniques, sanitation protocols, and retail sales strategies.
  • Familiarity with advanced beauty procedures such as dermabrasion, hair threading, barbering techniques, and body waxing is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with diverse clients and upsell services confidently.
  • Ability to stay organized using retail math principles for inventory management and sales tracking. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
