Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of the curriculum

- Teach core and elective subjects to high school students

- Create a positive and engaging classroom environment

- Assess and evaluate student progress and provide feedback

- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and assignments

- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive educational experience

- Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student progress and behavior

- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills

Experience: (Pastoral reference is required)

- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

- Valid teaching certification/license

- Proven experience teaching high school students

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and engage students in learning

- Proficiency in using technology, such as Excel
