Role: The Senior Prompt Engineer reports to the AVP, Core Insurance and works closely with AI/ML teams, product managers, and software engineering teams. This role combines technical expertise with strategic communication to accelerate AI integration across all organizational functions while demonstrating quantifiable value to executive leadership.   

Below is a brief description of the expected product the candidate will be working on:

Equisoft/amplify Our AI-powered insurance ecosystem leverages advanced integration technologies to connect intelligent agents with core business systems. The platform utilizes Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and agentic workflow orchestration to enable seamless data exchange, automated decision-making, and intelligent process automation across policy management, claims processing, and customer service applications.

Your Day with Equisoft:   

• Lead the deployment and optimization of AI tools across departments, with particular expertise in Claude and other large language model platforms. Provide hands-on support to teams in developing effective prompting strategies and best practices. Serve as the primary technical resource for AI-related questions and troubleshooting.

• Develop and maintain organizational standards for prompt engineering, creating templates, guidelines, and training materials that ensure consistent, high-quality AI interactions. Conduct workshops and one-on-one coaching sessions to build internal capability in prompt design and optimization techniques.

• Performance Measurement and Analysis Support management in creating a metrics frameworks to track AI adoption rates, productivity improvements, cost savings, and quality enhancements across all use cases. Collect and analyze performance data to identify successful patterns and areas for improvement.

• Execute communication and reporting support the creation of regular reports and presentations for executive leadership showcasing AI adoption progress, ROI analysis, and strategic recommendations. Translate technical metrics into business impact narratives that support continued investment and expansion of AI initiatives.

• Change Management and Training Facilitate organizational change by addressing resistance to AI adoption, support the creation of training programs, and creating internal champions. 

Requirements:   

Technical  

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, AI, or related field, or College Diploma combined with 4+ years of relevant software development experience

• 2+ years of experience with Python

• Ability to understand and develop MCP servers

• Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies and prompt engineering

• Experience with cloud platforms and DevOps tools

• Proven experience in change management and cross-functional collaboration

• Strong analytical skills with experience in performance measurement and data analysis

• Excellent communication skills with ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences

• Experience with Claude, ChatGPT, or similar large language models

Soft skills  

• Strong sense of organization and prioritizing

• Analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to communicate, write and synthesize information

• Ability to multi-task in a rapid-paced environment

• Team spirit, tact, diplomacy, autonomy, rigor, and discipline 

Nice to Haves:   

• Experience in enterprise technology adoption or digital transformation

• Background in process improvement or operational excellence

• Familiarity with multiple AI platforms and emerging technologies

• Familiarity with Azure cloud platform and Azure OpenAI

• Familiarity with Playwright testing framework
