Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated,experienced and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong understanding of truck operations, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle different types of trucks including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and dump trucks.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and drive various types of trucks including tractor-trailers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws.
  • Load and unload cargo as necessary, ensuring that all items are secured properly for transport.
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and mileage.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
  • Utilize manual transmission when required for specific deliveries or vehicle types.
  • Operate forklifts as needed for loading and unloading tasks.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Truck Driver with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
  • Familiarity with operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and other specialized vehicles is preferred.
  • Experience in delivery driving with a strong focus on safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
  • Previous experience loading and unloading cargo efficiently using appropriate equipment.
