Director of Marketing
We're looking for a passionate and strategic Director of Marketing to lead our creative team, elevate our brand, and champion the next chapter of our growth story.
At d3h Hotels Inc., we're more than just a hotel management company — we're 13 properties strong across Saskatchewan and Alberta, proudly operating under the Days Inn and Home Hotels brands (yes, that one's homegrown by us). For over 28 years, we've believed that when we take care of our people, they'll take care of our guests — and that belief continues to shape everything we do. We are deeply rooted in our values of Work Ethic, Engagement, Integrity, Fairness and Growth.
Our culture is built around sharing Authentic Prairie Hospitality — the kind that feels genuine, warm, and rooted in integrity. To us, it means working hard, treating everyone with respect, supporting one another like family, and always striving to do better. We're not your typical hotel company — and we're proud of that.
As our next Director of Marketing, you'll blend creativity with strategy to tell our story in new and inspiring ways. You'll lead a talented team in shaping campaigns that spark connection, build loyalty, and drive measurable growth across every channel. If you're driven by purpose, inspired by people, and ready to make a meaningful impact, we'd love to welcome you into our d3h family.
What you will do:
- Develop and execute annual marketing plans and budgets focused on driving occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, growth in repeat customer base & enhancing the guest experience across the portfolio of hotels
- Align marketing initiatives with revenue management and operations to support performance targets and market share growth.
- Set clear, measurable KPIs and deliver reporting scorecards to track ROI and performance by property.
- Lead digital marketing efforts including website management, SEO, SEM, social media, and email campaigns.
- Optimize hotel listings, online reputation, and local SEO to capture target market and regional guests.
- Work with the revenue management and the individual hotel locations to reduce OTA dependency and increase direct booking share.
- Oversee content and promotions on all d3h websites and property-level web pages to improve conversion.
- Support hotels with local marketing initiatives and partnerships to increase community awareness and demand.
- Ensure consistent use of Home Hotel brand assets, messaging, and promotional materials across all locations.
- Develop and manage regional campaigns tied to key travel seasons, local events, or feeder markets.
- Oversee public relations, reputation management, and social media engagement for all properties.
- Work with operations department to understand trends of online reviews for each property
- Support hotel openings, rebranding, and renovation communications.
- Lead and mentor a small, high-performing marketing team or shared-service resources.
- Manage agency and vendor relationships, ensuring cost-effective and high-impact marketing support.
- Foster collaboration with other departments, including operations, HR, sales and revenue management teams.
Qualifications:
· Minimum 5 years of experience in a creative leadership role, ideally within hospitality, or as a lead designer for a marketing agency, or in a related field.
· Strong portfolio demonstrating brand development, campaign ideation, design and multi-platform creative execution.
· Proficient in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite and other design tools; familiarity with motion, video, and photography direction a plus. Experience working with Hubspot, , or comparable platforms.
