Job Description**

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Experienced Journeyman Sprinkler Fitter located in Calgary, AB. The primary responsibilities include installing, repairing, and maintaining sprinkler systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and using hand tools and equipment necessary for the job. You will work closely with other team members to ensure timely and efficient project completion and uphold the highest standards of workmanship.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Sprinkler Systems and Sprinkler installation and maintenance
  • Proficiency in using Hand Tools
  • Understanding of Life Safety protocols and requirements
  • Knowledge of Pipe systems and their integration with sprinkler systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Valid Journeyman certification. We are not currently hiring apprentices
  • We are a union company, part of Local 496 since inception
  • Union rates as of 2025 are $69.47 for full package, $51.00 hourly wage
  • We offer a 1 year retention bonus of an additional $5 per hour added to the current hourly wage
