Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to oversee and coordinate housing builds from start to finish. The ideal candidate will lead construction teams, ensure safety and quality standards are met, and manage project timelines effectively. This role requires leadership skills, building knowledge, and the ability to interpret blueprints . The Construction Foreman will be responsible for delivering the projects on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily construction activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards
  • Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
  • Conduct quality control inspections to verify work meets specifications and standards
  • Manage and assist with construction estimating as needed
  • Oversee the supervision of construction crews, providing guidance and resolving on-site issues promptly
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations

Requirements

  • Proven experience supervising construction projects with a background in building construction
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprint drawings accurately
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry
  • Prior experience working in construction
  • Understanding of tools and job site equipment
  • Class 3 drivers an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
