Duties

• Provide professional hair styling services including cuts, color, treatments, and styling to meet client preferences
• Deliver exceptional customer service by understanding client needs and offering personalized recommendations
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools to ensure client safety
• Upsell retail products such as hair care items to enhance client results and increase sales
• Manage front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and processing payments
• Communicate effectively with clients to ensure satisfaction and foster long-term relationships
• Stay updated on current trends and techniques in hair styling to provide innovative services

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology or barber license as required by state regulations
• Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio of work preferred
• Excellent customer service and communication skills to connect with diverse clients
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices in a salon environment
• Ability to upsell retail products confidently while maintaining genuine client relationships
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage front desk duties efficiently
• A friendly, professional demeanor with a passion for helping clients look and feel their best

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$46.45 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
