Assisted Living Southwestern Ontario (ALSO) is looking for a part-time Attendant Service Worker/Personal Support Worker (ASW/PSW) to support our locations across Windsor and Essex County. This position is for day shift (7am - 3pm) or afternoon shift (3pm - 11pm).

Job Duties:

  • Provide attendant services in accordance with the care plan, including personal hygiene, personal care, medication assistance, meal preparation and housekeeping.
  • Respect the autonomy and dignity of clients in all interactions.
  • Complete daily work logs and other required documentation.
  • Maintain clear communication with the Program Manager and coworkers via daily logs, client updates, and communication boards.
  • Ensure staff and client equipment is neat and in good working order.

Requirements:

  • Experience providing personal care or support services in a home or community setting.
  • Completion of a PSW certificate or related health care training program
  • Must be able to work every other weekend.
  • Valid Ontario driver's license, daily access to a motor vehicle, and appropriate vehicle insurance coverage.
  • Clear Police Clearance.
