Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support the pharmacy staff in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the efficient operation of the pharmacy. You will assist with medication administration, manage inventory, and help maintain a safe and organized environment for both patients and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately.
  • Support the pharmacy team in managing stock levels, including ordering and receiving supplies.
  • Bill and prepare blister packs
  • Order medications as needed from wholesaler

Requirements

  • Pharmacy experience is an asset as well as Propel RX knowledge.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care with empathy and professionalism.
  • Must be able to work well with others and be part of the team.
  • Knowledge of McKesson ordering as an asset.
