Pharmacy Assistant -

Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and preparing prescriptions
• Maintain inventory of medications and supplies
• Package and label medications accurately
• Handle prescription inquiries from patients and healthcare professionals
• Enter prescription information into the computer system
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a pharmacy assistant is preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmaceutical calculations
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with pharmacy software systems is a plus
