Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Officer to join our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that company operations adhere to legal standards, internal policies, and industry regulations. This role is vital in maintaining the integrity of our processes and safeguarding the company's reputation. The Compliance Officer will play a key role in conducting audits, reviewing internal controls, and supporting overall compliance initiatives across departments.

Duties

  • Conduct regular internal audits to assess compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and implement audit plans, procedures, and documentation standards
  • Review financial records and accounting practices to ensure accuracy and adherence to applicable laws
  • Identify potential areas of compliance risk and recommend corrective actions
  • Collaborate with departments to improve internal controls and compliance processes
  • Prepare detailed reports on audit findings and compliance status for management review
  • Stay informed about changes in relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards affecting the organization
  • Assist in training staff on compliance policies and best practices

Requirements

  • Proven experience in auditing, internal audits, or related compliance roles
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to interpret complex regulations and translate them into actionable procedures
  • Effective communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating across teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; professional certifications such as CPA or CIA are a plus
  • Ability to work independently with a high level of integrity and professionalism

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $71,160.01-$74,354.98 per year
