Software Test Developer

Nialli is looking for an experienced
software test developer
who will design, build and perform our manual and automated testing processes.

What we are developing

Nialli develops visual collaboration applications designed for teams engaged in highly collaborative planning and design activities. Our portfolio is focused on Lean construction practices and provides easily understood ways for individuals and groups to work together in both in-person and remote scenarios.

Our unique use of interactive displays for group interaction provides significant value for high-functioning teams. We are an early-stage organization with a growing customer base in the construction industry in North America, the United Kingdom, Europe and Australia. Nialli applications are cloud-based on the Microsoft Azure platform.

You will

  • Develop and architect web application load testing
  • Design and develop automated integration tests for functional, security, and performance evaluation of RESTful APIs
  • Automate test cases that are part of a continuous delivery workflow, while minimizing the need for manual test repetition
  • Work with the business, testing and development teams to write effective manual and automated tests that are reliable, repeatable and well documented
  • Perform touch-based UI experience testing
  • Build and perform functional, regression, and smoke tests
  • Ensure accurate test reports for internal and external audiences

You have

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent experience such as a technical degree from SAIT or NAIT
  • Experience in software development with strong knowledge of C#, .net, Java, HTML elements and JavaScript
  • Experience in test automation strategies and frameworks
  • Previously used 3rd party services/cloud services to perform web application load testing
  • Experience with TestRail
  • Experience in functional and performance testing using automation
  • Familiarity with Postman
  • Experience with RESTful Web APIs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A passion for API and web application hardening
