JSM Law is growing and we are looking for a Personal Injury Lawyer to join our team. The position is not hybrid, it is in-person.

Responsibilities for the Lawyer include, but are not limited to:

  • Assessing files based on medical evidence
  • Meet with clients
  • Drafting, reviewing, amending Pleadings
  • Prepare Statements of Claim, Mediation Memorandum, trial records, etc.
  • Research, factum writing, correspondence with opposing counsel
  • Attend and represent clients for Motions, Examinations for Discovery, pre-trials, trials, etc.
  • Settlement of claims
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications for Lawyer

  • J.D. or LL.B. with exceptional academic credentials;
  • License to practice law in Ontario;
  • Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario;
  • 3+ years of experience in Personal Injury;
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and negotiation skills;
  • Exceptional time management, organizational and prioritization skills;
  • Ability to work independently and strong work ethics;
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients.

Salary:

  • Salary commensurate to experience
