  • Support in the building, implementation, delivery and evaluation of training for employees on inclusive and developmentally appropriate practices, adaptive strategies, trauma-informed care in children and youth programs.
  • Assist in building tools and resources using best practices to support inclusive and developmentally appropriate, trauma-informed and adaptive programs, including coaching implementation.
  • Ensure alignment with current research, best practices and policies to support building a framework to establish capacity and sustainability in the delivery of inclusive, developmentally appropriate, adaptive and trauma-informed program development.

Qualifications

  • Must be currently enrolled in the second or third year of a diploma or degree program in Child Development, Disability Studies, Education, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • A valid Class 5 Driver's License (or provincial equivalent) and the use of personal vehicle.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills are required for this role.
  • Customer-focused with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Working Conditions: This position will work on occasional weekends to support trainings.

Pre-Employment Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled in school on a full-time basis with the intent to return to school full-time in the Fall of 2026.
  • A security clearance and Vulnerable Sector Search will be conducted.
  • If invited to an interview, you will be asked to provide an unofficial transcript or an enrollment verification letter (indicating the program and year you are currently completing).

Compensation: $29.82 per hour

Days of Work: This position works a 5 day

work week with 1 day off in a 3 week cycle.

Occasional weekend work may be required

Hours of work: Standard 35 hour work week
