Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Boom Truck Driver to join our team. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to all traffic laws and regulations.

Experience will dictate pay.

Typically Monday - Friday

Duties

  • Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery receipts.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arises.
  • Operate heavy equipment and forklifts when necessary for loading or unloading cargo.

Requirements

  • Class 4 Crane License - anything lower an asset
  • Class 1 License
  • Proven experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record.
  • Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of automotive repair is an advantage.
  • Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
  • Must be able to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading freight.
  • Must be able to drive manual transmission.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
