Boom Truck/Heavy Truck Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Boom Truck Driver to join our team. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to all traffic laws and regulations.
Experience will dictate pay.
Typically Monday - Friday
Duties
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery receipts.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arises.
- Operate heavy equipment and forklifts when necessary for loading or unloading cargo.
Requirements
- Class 4 Crane License - anything lower an asset
- Class 1 License
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of automotive repair is an advantage.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
- Must be able to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading freight.
- Must be able to drive manual transmission.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
