Meet Fresh Prep — Western Canada's most convenient and sustainable meal kit delivery service.

As a certified B Corporation, we make convenient eating healthy and sustainable for the communities we operate in. We source quality local ingredients whenever possible, and deliver in reusable, recyclable and compostable packaging. We offer 10 chef-created meal kit recipes each week, with options for many lifestyles and preferences including vegetarian and vegan.

In the past few years, we have collected many awards and recognition for our continued pursuit in being a leader in both customer and employee satisfaction. Some awards include The Georgia Straight's Golden Plates, 23rd and 24th Annual Best of Vancouver award for Best Meal Kit Service, BC's Top Employers 2023, Top SME 2023, and Climate Smart. What You'll Be Doing

At Fresh Prep, every day may be different While we are currently in "growth mode", things are becoming more and more streamlined. This means that your first day may not look like your third or your tenth, but each day you will be doing some of the following:

• Working in a refrigerated environment, with temperatures between 4–6°C

• Picking and packing customized meal kits for customers

• Selecting food items from storage and placing them on sortation racks based on customer orders

• Helping to organize and pack orders into delivery containers according to driver routes

• Working in a fast-paced role that requires attention to detail and efficiency

• Following all food safety guidelines and contributing to keeping the workspace clean and organized

What We Are Looking For

• Experience in food production, warehousing or other fast-paced environments is an asset, but not required

• Ability to work quickly and accurately to meet time sensitive deadlines

• Comfortable working in a refrigerated environment (0–10°C)

• Able to stand for long periods (up to 8 hours per shift)

• Physically able to lift up to 30 lbs (13 kg)

What You Can Expect

• Schedule of either: 3pm to 11pm (Friday - Tuesday) and 7am - 3pm (Friday-Tuesday)

• Wage of $20.23/hour
