Your role, your impact
As a Quality Assurance (QA) Lead, you'll be part of a program consisting of three squads focused on development and testing of delivery platforms (web and mobile). These three squads are supported by a QA structure focused on agility, development, and QA. You'll be responsible for manual and automated testing.
Your day-to-day
- Be responsible for a squad while working as part of a team with the senior QA advisor and other QA leads;
- Actively participate in the Agile process (velocity, estimation, Agile ceremonies, etc.);
- Work on several aspects: the strategic/guidance aspect of the team, as well as the operational aspect (writing, execution, and test automation);
- Participate actively and proactively in meetings;
- Integrate testing into the development cycle (Agile, Scrum, etc.);
- Promote a collaborative and productive environment.
Keys to your success
- Diploma of College Studies (DCS) in computer science or other relevant degree;
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a QA lead;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in agility;
- 2 to 5 years of experience in automation and manual testing;
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Confluence, Xray, and Jira;
- Excellent communicator;
- Quick comprehension;
- Solution-oriented in a multitasking work environment;
- Ability to assist the team with any additional tasks or ad hoc projects.
Language skills
- French: Proficient
- English: Advanced
Please note that due to the nature of the responsibilities of the position an advanced level of English is required, in particular to communicate on a regular basis with vendors outside of Quebec.
