Scholars Calgary Willow Park is seeking passionate and enthusiastic part-time Math and Science tutor to join our team. As a teacher at Scholars, you will have the opportunity to positively impact students, both personally and academically. We take pride in delivering results that matter to all of our students, and our teachers play a key role in this journey. The successful candidate will be trained on Scholars' teaching methodology.

Candidates must be located in Calgary.

Candidates should be outgoing and ready to work individually with students to help make learning fun

  • Expert knowledge of all levels of high school Math. Ability to tutor Math 31 (Calculus) is an advantage but not necessary.
  • Proficient in at least one science subject (Chemistry, Biology or Physics) up to and including grade 12 level.
  • Certified Teacher is preferred
  • Previous experience working with students is an asset.
  • A passion to help students reach their potential.
  • Exceptionally organized and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to teach groups of up to 3 students.

Candidates must be located in Calgary. Candidates must be able to work a minimum of two shifts per week within our hours of operation below. We're closed during holidays and are flexible.

Monday - Friday 3:00 - 8:00 pm. Sunday 10am-4pm.

Job Type: Part-time

Part-time hours: 3-20 per week

Salary: $19.00- $21.00 per hour
