In the position of Service Advisor, reporting to the Parts and Service Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for being the critical link between our customers and shop, listening to customer concerns, assessing their needs as well as keeping them informed on the progress of their repair. If you have no experience and are willing to learn, we will provide training
You will be accountable for:
- Greeting customers and offering excellent customer service from intake to the release of their vehicles.
- Ensuring customers are checked in and the correct services are applied to their order.
- Providing excellent customer service to ensure a memorable experience for the customer.
- Providing updates to customers on the progress of their vehicle repairs.
- Listening to customer concerns and assessing their needs.
- Quoting repairs and explaining parts and service options to guests (or something close to that)
- Answering questions about service outcomes and scheduling and booking appointments, vehicle drop-off, and vehicle pick-up.
- Calling customers to advise them about service changes or car pick-up times.
- Ensuring all details on services rendered and costs are related to customers and processing their payments.
- Maintaining customer records and enter data into computer database.
- Other related duties.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A valid driver's license and a clean driver's abstract
- High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
- DMS experience, specifically PBS, is considered an asset
- Previous experience in customer service
- The ability to remain organized and handle multiple priorities.
- Strong computer skills
- Strong team player
- Punctual, reliable, and must have strong communication skills
