Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Care Educator (ECCE) or IT to join our Infant/Toddler team at Littletree. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. This role involves engaging with children, facilitating their learning and development, and collaborating with families to support each child's growth.

Duties

  • Create and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's development and daily activities.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the classroom setting.

Experience

  • Previous experience working with young children in an educational or care setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
