Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Care Educator (ECCE) or IT to join our Infant/Toddler team at Littletree. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. This role involves engaging with children, facilitating their learning and development, and collaborating with families to support each child's growth.
Duties
- Create and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Maintain accurate records of children's development and daily activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the classroom setting.
Experience
- Previous experience working with young children in an educational or care setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
