Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and the ability to perform various tasks in a construction or maintenance environment. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the capability to follow instructions accurately. The Laborer will play a crucial role in supporting our projects and ensuring that work is completed efficiently and safely.

Duties

  • Assist in building structures according to specifications and blueprints.
  • Utilize hand tools effectively for various tasks, including carpentry and caulking.
  • Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Support skilled tradespeople by providing assistance with their tasks.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning discussions.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in labor or construction is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to read blueprints and understand construction plans is a plus.
  • Proficient in using hand tools and equipment safely.
  • Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet.
  • Basic maintenance person skills are advantageous for troubleshooting minor issues on-site.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to completing tasks efficiently.
