We are in need of an individual with experience as a line cook in an Italian restaurant and that has familiarity with kitchen operations, who can work well as part of a team.

The Line Cook plays an important role in our kitchen, and is required to be detail oriented and able to work independently. This position requires working effectively under pressure while adhering to detailed sanitation and cleanliness guidelines. An ideal candidate will be comfortable with a fast-paced environment and have some experience working in restaurants or related industries.

Responsibilities:

  • Cook for the general public.
  • Cook in a fast-paced setting.
  • Work long shifts; work flexible shifts.
  • Be organized and able to work under pressure

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

  • Cooking: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
