Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Sandwich Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality sandwiches and food items, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This role is vital in ensuring customer satisfaction and smooth daily operations in our fast-paced food service setting.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to company recipes and customer specifications
  • Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
  • Manage time effectively to ensure quick service during busy hours
  • Maintain food safety and sanitation standards following health regulations
  • Handle food with proper hygiene practices, including proper storage and handling of ingredients
  • Assist customers with menu selections, upselling additional items to increase sales
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to sanitation protocols
  • Restock supplies as needed to ensure efficient workflow during shifts

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environment is preferred.
  • Driving with a car
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Good time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously
  • Understanding of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
