Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our warehouse team. This role is vital in ensuring the accurate and efficient movement of goods, maintaining inventory integrity, and supporting overall warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse management systems, order fulfillment, and equipment operation such as forklifts and reach trucks. Duties

• Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities against purchase orders, and inspect for damages
• Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling products accurately
• Load and unload trucks using forklifts, reach trucks, or other material handling equipment
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movements within Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), MRP, and AS400 platforms
• Ensure proper packaging of products to prevent damage during transit
• Assist with order picking and order fulfillment processes for e-commerce orders
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency
• Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory reconciliation as needed
• Support warehouse distribution activities by coordinating with other departments to meet shipping deadlines

Requirements

• Previous experience in warehouse operations, shipping & receiving, or related fields preferred
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), and Microsoft Office
• Ability to operate forklifts, reach trucks, or other warehouse equipment safely (certification preferred)
• Basic math skills for inventory counting, measurements, and calculations
• Experience with order picking, order fulfillment, packaging, and load & unload procedures
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in shipments and inventory records
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards
• Warehouse distribution or e-commerce logistics experience is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
