HR Coordinator (Healthcare)

Hybrid | Yorkville, Toronto
$25–$26 per hour | 4-Month Contract (Potential Extension)

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our client, a well-established organization within the Healthcare industry, on a contract basis in Toronto, Ontario. This is a hybrid role, requiring three (3) days per week on-site at the client's Yorkville office.

In this role, you will play a key part in supporting day-to-day HR operations by managing employee data, maintaining HR systems, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures. This position is ideal for an HR professional who is passionate about human resources and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring HR-related inquiries are handled accurately, professionally, and in a timely manner

Support and maintain HR systems, including the processing, updating, and auditing of employee data

Prepare and manage confidential HR documentation such as offer letters, employment changes, terminations, and contract updates

Ensure HR systems reflect accurate and up-to-date employment records, including status changes, compensation updates, and personal information

Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth and compliant employee experience

Support reporting, data entry, and administrative HR tasks as required

Maintain confidentiality and compliance with healthcare privacy and employment standards

Qualifications & Skills

Previous experience in an HR Coordinator, HR Administrator, or similar role

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Experience working with HRIS systems; Dayforce experience is considered a strong asset

Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a hybrid work environment

Role Details

Location: Yorkville, Toronto (Hybrid – 3 days on-site)

Contract Duration: 4 months, with the possibility of extension

Pay Rate: $25–$26 per hour

Start Date: ASAP
