Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to work independently at a Retirement Strata.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and facilities maintenance, with an emphasis on customer service and communication.

Duties

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
  • Conduct heavy lifting as necessary to move furniture or equipment during cleaning processes.
  • Manage time efficiently to complete tasks within designated timeframes while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Provide custodial support in commercial settings, ensuring all areas are clean and well-maintained.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients to address any cleaning needs or concerns.
  • Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, contributing to the overall upkeep of the property.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial
  • Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during cleaning activities.
  • Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients and staff.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
  • A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in all areas of responsibility.
