With a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and operational excellence, we
take pride in maintaining our vessels and terminals to the highest standards.
Our team is dedicated to continuous improvement, innovation, and providing an
exceptional travel experience for all passengers.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Assistant Infrastructure
Manager to support the planning, maintenance, and development of our marine
shore-based infrastructure. Reporting to the Infrastructure Manager, this role
is vital in ensuring our terminals and berths are maintained to the highest
standards and that maintenance procedures are effectively captured,
standardized, and implemented across all facilities.

KEY
RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with planning, development, and implementation of
infrastructure projects, budgets, and maintenance programs.
  • Provide technical guidance to terminal management and maintenance staff on
    daily and non-routine maintenance activities.
  • Support project management of third-party contractors, including tender
development, progress validation, and quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with senior management, Transport Canada, PSPC, and consultants on
    project planning and execution.
  • Assist in developing and managing project budgets and standardizing maintenance
    practices across terminals.
  • Capture maintenance activities and inventory in the computerized maintenance
management system (CMMS) and support staff training on the platform.
  • Promote and uphold safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance standards.
  • Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for terminal infrastructure
    and equipment as needed.

WHAT
YOU BRING:

  • Engineering degree or technical diploma/certification in
Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial Control Technology—or extensive equivalent
    experience.
  • Proven experience with hydraulic systems, industrial controls, and
    instrumentation systems.
  • Background in marine terminal management and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of marine terminal infrastructure, relevant safety and environmental
    regulations.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and travel
    throughout the Maritimes.
  • Valid driver's license required.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Primarily day-work schedule (Mon–Fri), working flexible
hours, including occasional evenings, weekends, and overnight travel. In
addition to office-based work in Saint John, NB, this role will require
